Michael Keaton plays a cop who's partner (Anthony LaPaglia) is gunned down in a hostage rescue attempt. This is where Birgitte comes in, since she plays the hostage. If I didn't know Brigitte is in this movie, I might have missed her entirely. Brigitte is saved, and Keaton goes on to adopt the three daughters of his slain partner. Rene Russo plays Keaton's spouse, and Rachael Ticotin plays a drug lord's girl friend. The rest of the movie alternates between Keaton playing cop, and Keaton playing new dad.
